7º BAFIC - Edição de 2016

O BAFIC 2016 foi a 7ª edição da premiação, onde foram premiados os filmes que estrearam oficialmente entre os dias 1º de janeiro de 2016 até 31 de dezembro de 2016.

Os indicados foram revelados no dia 4 de maio de 2023 e os vencedores no dia de 13 do mesmo mês, através do Instagram da premiação.

Os grandes destaques da edição foram La La Land e Arrival, com 4 vitórias cada. O primeiro levou para casa os prêmios de Melhor Filme, Melhor Canção Original para a música "City Of Stars", Melhor Trilha Sonora e Melhor Montagem. O segundo venceu nas categorias de Melhor Direção, Melhor Roteiro Adaptado, Melhor Som e Melhores Efeitos Visuais. Além disso, Silence e Hacksaw Ridge foram destacados por terem dominado as categorias técnicas, com 3 vitórias cada um.
