6° BAFIC - Edição de 2017

O BAFIC 2017 foi a 6ª edição da premiação, onde foram premiados os filmes que estrearam oficialmente entre os dias 1º de janeiro de 2017 até 31 de dezembro de 2017.

Os indicados foram revelados no dia 30 de março de 2023 e os vencedores na páscoa, no dia 9 de abril de 2023, no Instagram da premiação. Foi a primeira edição pós-2022, que condisse com a temporada de premiações pela primeira vez.

Nesta edição, destaque para Get Out que conseguiu 12 indicações e ganhou 6 prêmios: Melhor Filme, Melhor Direção para Jordan Peele, Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante para Allison Williams, Melhor Roteiro Original, Melhor Elenco e Melhor Filme de Terror ou Sci-Fi, sendo o primeiro filme a ganhar seis categorias. Blade Runner 2049, Baby Driver e Coco também venceram múltiplas categorias, com 3 vitórias para cada.
