Paul Thomas Anderson dirigindo One Battle After Another, vencedor da categoria em 2025
O BAFIC (Brazilian Award For International Cinema) de melhor direção (em inglês: Best Directing), é uma categoria da premiação referente a escolha do realizador que melhor trabalhou e coordenou os filmes e seu elenco e equipe no ano em questão.

Steven Spielberg, até então, é o único diretor com duas vitórias na categoria, vencendo por West Side Story e The Fabelmans nas edições de 2021 e 2022, respectivamente.

O BAFIC 2024 foi a 19ª edição da premiação, onde foram premiados os filmes que estrearam oficialmente entre os dias 1º de janeiro de 2024 até 31 de dezembro de 2024. Os indicados foram revelados no dia 9 de fevereiro de 2025 e os vencedores no dia 1 de março através do Instagram da premiação.
