O BAFIC (Brazilian Award For International Cinema) de melhor filme de terror ou sci-fi (em inglês: Best Horror or Sci-Fi Film), é uma categoria da premiação referente a escolha da melhor produção cinematográfica dos gêneros de terror, suspense psicológico ou ficção científica, não necessariamente sendo incluido nessas três categorias, apenas uma é suficiente para nomeação.

É uma das três categorias de filme de gênero, ao lado de Melhor Filme de Ação e Melhor Filme de Comédia.
