5º BAFIC - Edição de 2022

O BAFIC 2022 foi a 5ª edição da premiação, onde foram premiados os filmes que estrearam oficialmente entre os dias 1º de janeiro de 2022 até 31 de dezembro de 2022.

Os indicados foram revelados no dia 13 de fevereiro de 2023 e os vencedores no dia de 19 do mesmo mês, através do Instagram da premiação.

Nesta edição, o destaque foi Top Gun: Maverick que conseguiu 14 indicações, igualando o recorde numérico, e ganhou 4 prêmios: Melhor Filme, Melhor Filme de Ação, Melhor Som e Melhor Montagem. Destaque também para The Batman, também líder de indicações com 14, vencendo 3: Melhor Trilha Sonora, Melhor Equipe de Dublês e Melhor Maquiagem e Cabelo. Outros destaques foram The Banshees of Inisherin, empatado líder de vitórias, com 4; The Fabelmans, vencedor de 3 categorias principais: Melhor Direção e as duas de atuação coadjuvante; e Avatar: The Way of Water, dominante nas categorias técnicas.
